A planning conference on preparation for the joint Russian-Indian exercise Indra Navy 2015 took place in the city of Visakhapatnam (Republic of India).
The parties agreed on the plan of episodes, the plan of the Pacific Fleet’s ship formation for entering into the territorial waters as well as security measures in the course of the practical stage and the composition of the parties.
According to the reached agreement, the naval exercise Indra Navy 2015 will take place in the territorial waters of the Republic of India (Bay of Bengal) on December 7-12, 2015. The main objective of the future joint exercise will become strengthening of the military naval cooperation between Russia and India in securing civil navigation and activities at sea.
