The following is attributable to Spokesperson John Kirby:

Secretary Kerry met today in Brussels with Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni. Their discussion focused on supporting and accelerating the UN-led political process in Libya, and the Secretary thanked Italy for its leadership in this process.

They also discussed coalition efforts against Da’esh, including Italy’s strong contributions. The Secretary made clear he was urging all allies to increase their contributions.

Finally, they agreed the Minsk Agreement on Ukraine must be fully implemented and that international sanctions against Russia are tied to that.
