Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA): Defense Collaboration Services super-user training offered

Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) super-user training will be offered via DCS and throughout the coming months.

This training is available to anyone in the DOD, including contractors. The DCS Program Management Office highly recommends organizations identify individuals likely to benefit from the training.

The purpose of the training is to develop collaboration expertise across the DOD and to spread best practices and lessons learned to more than 500,000 registered DCS users.

While DCS chat and web-conferencing capabilities are fairly straightforward, some of the advanced features, including integrated audio and conference room configurations, can be a challenge.

After completing this training, DCS super-users will be equipped to perform these configurations, support their local teams, resolve customer experience issues, and promote collaboration within their organization.

Dates and times (Eastern) for the trainings are:

  • Sept. 5 at 3 p.m.
  • Oct. 3 at 9 a.m.
  • Nov. 7 at 11 a.m.
  • Dec. 5 at 3 p.m.

Registration is required.

All training sessions will use both DCS conferencing and chat capabilities. The DCS chat room name is DCS_SME_Forum.

A certificate will be provided upon completion designating the employee as a DCS super user.
