The first Hemispheric Forum on International Cooperation against Cybercrime will open on 5 December in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The Forum is a joint effort of international and regional organizations to better coordinate and complement their initiatives in support of Latin American and Caribbean countries.
The event is co-organized by the Council of Europe (through its joint project with the European Union on Global Action on Cybercrime Extended: GLACY+), the OAS General Secretariat (in the framework of the mandates of the REMJA), the United States Justice Department and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) of the Dominican Republic.
